Speaking Topics

Although I am perfectly content to sit at my laptop for hours on end, I also have a passion to encourage people through various speaking opportunities. Some may call it babbling. I call it inspiring friends to greater faith and action. Some of my topics include:

I am available for one-time speaking engagements or retreats (provided I get my own room; OK, we can negotiate that). My heart is to challenge people to believe God for greater things in increasingly challenging times.

Carol Madison Bio:
I have been involved in both the publishing world and the prayer movement for several years. Whether I have been editing magazines or writing prayer guides, my heart has always been to encourage people to seek God more diligently and trust Him more fully.

I am currently communications director for Prayer First, which is the national prayer ministry of Converge Worldwide. And in my spare time, I do editorial work for the Minnesota expression of Global Day of Prayer, a massive prayer movement covering the earth. I just agreed to edit a new magazine called Prayer Connect, and I'm providing editorial content for a new Facebook application called Praybook. Can you detect a pattern here?

But I am also committed to helping lead the prayer ministry in my local church, as I believe God delights in responding to even just one person.

Speaker Fees:
I dislike speaker fees. Take an offering. Pay for my gas. Provide a meal. Or just say "thank you" and be done with it. Somehow God always provides for me - and perhaps He will use you!

I can provide references of people who have heard me speak - and I won't just ask my friends. I have taught workshops at national prayer conferences, including the Church Prayer Leaders Network and Moms In Touch.
